Importance of Semi-Conservative Replication
There are two chains in the DNA and the two are complementary; when the chain replicated form the other chain, is known as semiconservative replication of DNA. The importance of DNA replication semi-conservative is to make two copies, each containing one of the original chains and a new chain synthesized. As you can see, the DNA is less organized during cell division, which is due to the chromosomes, which are not always present at the moment of cell division.
